UPDATE: Victims Identified in Fatal Harrison Brookville Road Crash

The accident took place Friday just before 5:00 AM.

Update published Friday, August 16 at 2:44 p.m.:

(West Harrison, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims of a fatal crash that occurred Friday morning on Harrison Brookville Road.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Reese Hayes, 17, of Lawrenceburg, was eastbound on Harrison Brookville Road when the vehicle went left of center and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Hayes and the second driver, Zachary Hedges, 22, of West Harrison, were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Harrison Fire and EMS and New Trenton Fire Department.

No further information had been released at this time.

(West Harrison, Ind.) – Two people were reported killed in a two-vehicle crash early this morning in Dearborn County.

The crash took place just before 5:00 a.m. on Harrison Brookville Road.

Harrison Brookville Road remains closed between Moore Drive and Johnson Fork Road.
