These Free Fishing Days will allow Indiana residents to fish without a license.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has announced four Free Fishing Days starting in May.
These four days will include May 3, June 6-7, and September 26.
On these Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents will not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state's public waters.
All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits will still apply.
The DNR encourages residents to use Free Fishing Days as an opportunity to learn how to fish, take youth fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.
Also on Free Fishing Days, Learn to Fish Program workshops allow individuals new to fishing to learn without purchasing a license.
