(Dillsboro, Ind.) - Dillsboro has a new Town Manager.

At a recent meeting, Dillsboro Town Council appointed Kevin Turner as the new town manager.

Turner, a Dillsboro native, will replace Susan Greco upon her retirement at the end of March.

"Promoting Dillsboro as the perfect example of destination as a safe, prosperous, culturally significant, and ready to expand into an economic force is the goal I want to achieve," said Turner. "Dillsboro is my home, and I can see a wonderful, bright future for it."

Turner has been a municipal servant since 1998 when he joined the Aurora Fire Department. He has also served in law enforcement for the past 23 years, in addition to holding the office of Dearborn County Council since January 2019.

Turner is also a member of the Dillsboro Civic Club, chairman of Trinity Lutheran Church and County Council Representative to the Local Emergency Planning Committee and the Emergency Management Agency.
