(Dillsboro, Ind.) - There were six teams but only one could be crowned champion.
Dillsboro Elementary School's Math Club took first place in the area's 2024 M.A.T.H. Bowl competition on April 9. The win rendered Dillsboro Elementary as State Champions in the Green Class.
Over four rounds, each team was tasked with completing eight challenging questions each round. The questions were of varying degrees of difficulty, and students were given 30, 45, or 60 seconds to answer.
Dillsboro students took top honors answering 24 of the 32 questions correctly.
Team members include Ella Reynolds, Bradley Dick, Callan Rollins, Ilo Butusov, Ryan Miller, Graison Placke, Elijah Botuchis, Ivan Miller, Emma Palmer, Myah Bailey, Parker Crabtree, and Kameron Hicks.
Dillsboro's Math Club is coached by Carl Lee and Janet Ingle. Also pictured above is Principal Kyle Miller.
