Duke Energy is strengthening part of its electric grid to improve reliability and reduce power outages in southeast Indiana.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A portion of the Dearborn Trail will be closed this week and next.
Starting today through Tuesday, May 16, the Dearborn Trail will be closed between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The W. High Street trailhead access will be closed. An additional closure will occur when traveling east from Aurora, approximately ½ mile east of Tanners Creek bridge.
The closures are due to emergency repair to Duke power lines from the Lawrenceburg substation to Petersburg, Kentucky.
The Dearborn Trail in Lawrenceburg may be open in the evenings between 5:00 p.m. to dusk when the work zone area release is approved by the contractor.
It is possible utility work is performed on weekends.
All trail closure dates and times are subject to change.
