By Travis Thayer (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – High school seniors can now apply for Dearborn Savings Bank college scholarships. Dearborn Savings Bank announced Thursday that five high school seniors will be awarded with a $1,000 college scholarship in early 2018. Seniors from Lawrenceburg, South Dearborn, Rising Sun, Milan and East Central high schools are eligible to apply. To apply, students must complete a 1,500-word essay describing his or her most meaningful achievement and how that achievement relates to their potential field of study. Applications are available through the schools’ guidance department, or can be downloaded at www.dearbornsavings.com. The application deadline is February 26.
