(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg native Mason Parris is set to kick off his pursuit of a spot on the 2028 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team.
Parris will be competing at USA Wrestling's 2026 Final X in Newark, New Jersey on June 19.
He will compete at 57 kg vs. Wyatt Hendrickson in a best-of-three series.
Final X will determine the 2026 U.S. World Team and decide who will represent the United States at the 2026 Senior World Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan. Final X marks a major step in Parris' pursuit of a spot on the 2028 Olympic Team.
Parris made his first Olympic appearance at the 2024 Olympics. Other career accolades include a National Championship at the University of Michigan and three state championships at Lawrenceburg High School.
