(Bright, Ind.) - Dearborn County Hospital opened a new physical therapy facility in Bright on Monday, August 19. Located just off of State Line Road at 1940 Jamison Drive, Suite 105, DCH Bright Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is designed to serve the needs of Northern Dearborn County and Western Hamilton County residents.
Specializing in comprehensive, personalized care designed to enhance the overall health and well-being of each patient, DCH physical therapists see patients for back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle pain, as well as for repetitive stress injuries, arthritis, work conditioning, post-operative joint replacements, post-operative orthopaedic injuries, sports related injuries, balance disorders, fall prevention, industrial rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, wound care, lymphedema management and dysfunction of the upper and lower extremities.
The new 1,100 square foot outpatient facility is fully equipped to offer a wide range of exercise, treatment and therapy options in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere for individuals of all ages and activity levels including children, high-level athletes and geriatric patients. At the center, therapists utilize evidence-based research to choose the most effective method of treatment. This plan of care is then customized to meet the specific needs of each individual.
Treatment options at DCH Bright Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine include the use of gait analysis, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, neuromuscular re-education, traction, biofeedback, aerobic training, plyometrics, thermal modalities, hands-on manual therapy, compression garment fitting, work conditioning, balance training, neuro-developmental treatment (NDT), Kinesio taping, McConnell taping, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), functional assistance and strength training exercises.
Patients are welcomed to DCH Bright Physical Therapy by Matt Graessle, PT, DPT, Facility Supervisor and Lead Physical Therapist at the center. Mr. Graessle earned his undergraduate degree from Northern Kentucky University and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Cincinnati. He and his team of experienced therapists will work around your schedule by offering convenient early morning, afternoon and evening appointments. Initial visits and evaluations are scheduled promptly to ensure that treatment is begun in a timely manner.
For more than 35 years, Dearborn County Hospital Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine has been a trusted referral source for physicians from throughout the tri-state area. Now with the addition of the new facility, physicians have three locations for referral: Bright, Lawrenceburg and Aurora.
DCH Bright Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine accepts most private insurance plans, in addition to Workers’ Compensation from numerous states including Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. It is also a certified Medicare and Medicaid provider.
