(Vevay, Ind.) - Black tulips have blossomed in Vevay.
Kat Von D has announced that 15,000 black tulips have been planted outside the gates of the historic Schenck House, which she purchased in 2021.
The flowers come from Van Zyverden, Inc., which has been a principal in the flower bulb industry for over 100 years. Headquartered in Mississippi, it is one of the largest wholesale distributors of flower bulbs in the United States, shipping over 450 million bulbs and plants in the U.S. and Canada annually.
The tattoo artist, television personality, entrepreneur, and recording artist has some rules to consider for anyone who wants to come see the black tulip field:
- please don’t pick the tulips! Pretty please!!!
- enjoy the tulip field, but please do not enter our actual home property. Thank you for respecting our space.
- please be respectful to our lovely neighbors
- all are welcome, including professional photographers!
- make sure to tag us @hellovevay if you feel inspired
