Press release by Dearborn County Hospital (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Dearborn County Hospital Home Health & Hospice is continuing to provide free community blood pressure and blood sugar clinics once a month at various locations throughout Southeastern Indiana. “Participants should take their medications as scheduled,” stated Kathy Miller, RN, DCH Home Health & Hospice Unit Manager. “Also, fasting for eight hours prior to the blood sugar screening provides more accurate results. People with diabetes or those who are under a health professional’s care should consult their physician/nurse practitioner before fasting. All participants are given their screening results which they are encouraged to share with their healthcare provider.” Blood pressure/blood sugar clinic sites, days and times are as listed.
