Press release by Dearborn Savings Bank (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Dearborn Savings Bank is pleased and honored to announce that Dan Hummel recently joined its Board of Directors. Mr. Hummel is the longtime manager of the Hummel Insurance Group, which has five locations in southeast Indiana and two in northern Kentucky. He will bring his local business experience to Dearborn Savings Bank, where he will help the Board shape the Bank direction. “Adding Dan to our Board will be a tremendous benefit to the Bank and our customers,” said Board Chairman Dave Lorey. “We are extremely lucky to have a Director of Dan’s caliber.” Hummel Insurance Group has been a business staple in southeast Indiana since 1957. Mr. Hummel began managing the Group in 1999. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA and has several insurance and securities related certifications. He will join Ron Denney, Chuck Brandel, Dr. Dennis Richter, and Dave Lorey on the Board. He will also work closely with Dearborn Saving Bank President John Young. Mr. Hummel and his wife Lisa live in Rising Sun, IN, where they raised their family.
