CVG has held the lowest airfare in the region since the second quarter of 2017.

(Erlanger, Ky.) – Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) continues to lead the region in lowest airfare.
The U.S. Department of Transportation recently released its average airfare ranking report for the second quarter of 2021.
CVG once again had the lowest airfare in the region, a title the airport has held since the second quarter of 2017.
CVG ranks #76 with an average fare of $280, which is seven percent below the national average of $300.
Indianapolis had an average fare of $299 in the second quarter of 2021, ranking #63. Columbus and Louisville had an average fare of $308 and $312, respectively.
