The closure in Switzerland County will last about a month and a half.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that contractors will close two segments of State Road 156 in Switzerland County this month to complete replacement of two culverts and replace pipe lining on a third culvert as part of $1.7 million construction project.
State Road 156 will be closed to all but local traffic on or after March 24 at the following locations:
- Between Upper Goose Creek Rd. and N. Branch Rd.
- Between Concord Rd./Sand Run Rd. and Wade Hill Rd.
The official state highway detour routes will follow State Road 56 and State Road 250.

Construction is expected to be complete and closed segments reopened in approximately 45 days, weather permitting.
