(Florence, Ky.) - Cows are common in Eagle Country, but there are just some places you don’t expect to see them.

Like in the middle of Interstate 71/75 in Florence.

That was the case at about 1:00 Monday morning when a cow somehow ended up on the interstate near the Mount Zion Road exit.

The interstate was closed. Authorities eventually shot and killed the cow.
