(Harrison, Oh.) - Harrison City Council approved a Community Reinvestment Area tax abatement August 18 to encourage Cincinnati Asphalt to build a 14,500-square-foot office headquarters and warehouse. The $2 million facility will be located at 10200 Harrison Ave. The Cleves, Ohio-based company worked with Mayor Bill Neyer and the City’s Economic Development Department for more than two years to complete the deal.

The company will bring 36 new jobs with an annual payroll of more than $2.3 million into the City. The company expects to begin construction this fall and open by late 2021. The company also has an operation at the former stone quarry at Dry Fork Road and Pilot Drive, where it plans to build a facility and create 12 additional jobs  in the future.

Cincinnati Asphalt is one of the region’s largest and fastest-growing paving contractors for commercial, municipal, and industrial asphalt. The company provides concrete, excavation, utility and drainage services.
