(Aurora, Ind.) - Following the devastating storm that struck Dearborn County, community members have come together to support Aurora residents Lisa Barker and Bobby Hensley, whose home was completely destroyed during the storm.
A GoFundMe has been established to assist Barker and Hensley with immediate needs, temporary housing, replacement of essential items, and long-term recovery efforts.
"As a community, we have always stepped up to help our neighbors during difficult times," said Lawrenceburg City Councilman Dylan Liddle. "Lisa and Bobby have experienced an unimaginable loss, and this is an opportunity for all of us to come together and support them as they begin to rebuild."
Community members are encouraged to donate if they are able and to share the fundraiser with others. Every contribution, regardless of size, will help provide support during this challenging time.
