(Wilmington, Oh.) – High winds and some light snow are possible this afternoon through Thursday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, wind gusts of up to 40 mph are possible as early as this afternoon.

Some light snow is also possible this evening and tonight, with accumulations of less than an inch. While accumulation is expected to be minimal, the NWS says quick bursts of snow can lead to reduction in visibility.

Quickly falling temperatures will lead to the potential for slick spots on surfaces.

Cold conditions are expected Thursday morning with wind chill values between 0 and 5 degrees.
