Clearinghouse to Host Hunger Awareness Event at The Coachman Hall

An auction will include trips, tickets, and other items from many local and out of town businesses.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Dearborn County Clearinghouse for Emergency Aid today announced they will have a Hunger Awareness Event (HAE) at The Coachman Hall in Aurora on Saturday, May 18.

As a “Thank you” to those of you who have or will contribute to the needs of the community through the Clearinghouse, you are invited to a night out of celebration and fun featuring a prime rib dinner along with others who help to offer a “Hand Up” in our community. Tickets are $75 each to attend the dinner and can be secured as a donation at the following link https://dearbornclearinghouse.com/hunger-awareness-event. Please mark it as “HAE Ticket”.

The event will also feature music and other activities including a silent auction run by New Seasons Auction and Estate Sales. The auction includes trips, tickets, and other items from many local and out of town businesses. The Clearinghouse feeds those with food insecurities in Dearborn and Ohio Counties in Indiana. In 2023 The Clearinghouse provided over 29,846 services. All proceeds of this event go to support the mission of The Clearinghouse through its many programs:

  • Mobile Pantry
  • 2 Pantry Sites
  • Ivy Tech Pantry
  • Sacks of Snacks
  • Homeless Bags
  • Holiday Meals
  • Clothing outlet
  • Senior Boxes

The Clearinghouse is supported solely by donations. This means the Clearinghouse Programs are what you in our community do for those in need.
