Civista Bank Lobbies Reopen June 15

Walk-in services will resume following protocols to safeguard against the spread of COVID-19

(Sandusky, Oh.) – Civista Bank is pleased to announce it will be reopening its branch lobbies for walk-in services starting Monday, June 15, 2020. In March, Civista limited lobby services to appointment only, in efforts to protect the health and safety of its staff and customers. As branch lobbies begin to reopen for walk-in services, those efforts have been continued with the implementation of the following protocols to safeguard against the spread of COVID-19:

• The first half hour of business Monday - Friday will be a designated banking time in Civista Bank lobbies for senior citizens and those with high risk health conditions followed by walk-in service for all until 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm, depending on the branch. Lobby service will continue by appointment only in the afternoon. Customers and guests may visit civista.bank/connect/locations for specific branch lobby hours. Drive-thru service will continue operating regular hours and branches will resume regularly scheduled lobby hours on Saturdays.

• Guests are asked if they have symptoms of or exposure to COVID-19 not to enter the lobby.

• Staff, customers, and other guests must wear a facial covering when entering the lobby. If needed, Civista can provide a face mask upon request.

• Guests are asked to socially distance while in the lobby. Floor decals have been placed to help inform customers of the recommended six feet distance and guide them as they visit the branch lobby.

• Sanitation stations with hand sanitizer have also been installed and will be available. Guests are encouraged to use hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving the lobby.

• Branch lobby occupancy will be monitored to will limit the number of guests allowed at a time. A staff member will welcome guests and help maintain lobby traffic.

• Cleaning protocols have been increased and frequently touched surfaces, including counter tops, door knobs, drive-thru canisters, etc., will be cleaned regularly throughout the day.

• Some items, like coffee pots, pens and food have been removed from the lobby.
