The shelter will open this afternoon.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – In response to cold temperatures, the City of Lawrenceburg is providing an Emergency Shelter for those in need.
Individuals or families in need will have access to a monitored warm shelter, cots, blankets and water at the Lawrenceburg Boy Scout Cabin at 461 W. High Street.
The shelter will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through noon on Friday, December 6.
It should be noted that there is limited parking availability at the Scout Cabin. Also, no smoking or vaping is allowed inside the building or within six feet of the entrance.
