City of Lawrenceburg Chili Cookoff Winners to Donate Prize Money to Local Charities

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The City of Lawrenceburg hosted a Chili Cookoff on Friday to support local charities.

City employees were invited to submit a chili for review by celebrity judges Skyline King Mike Lambrinidis and Proof 124 & Hoosier Icehouse Chef Ernesto Muro.

The following winners were announced by Lawrenceburg Mayor Kelly Mollaun:

  • 1st Place: Lawrenceburg Police Patrolman Garrett Schmaltz
  • 2nd Place: Lawrenceburg Police Clerk Amy Bryant
  • 3rd Place: Lawrenceburg Fire Chief Johnnie Tremain

The winners were offered the chance to support a local charity of their choice with up to $1000 in prize money donations. 1st Place Winner will designate $500 to their favorite charity. 2nd Place Winner will designate $300 to a charity of their choice. 3rd Place Winner will ensure $200 is awarded to a local charity in need.
