(Florence, Ky.) – The family members of a couple murdered in their Florence home are begging somebody to come forward with information.
Bill and Peggy Stephenson, both 74, were found murdered in their home on Ridge Edge Court May 29. They had last been heard from by family May 27.
Investigators with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office have had a tough time developing leads in the case, and the trail only grows colder as this coming Saturday marks eight months since the couple was found.
On Wednesday, the Stephenson’s children were the focus of a press conference at the sheriff’s office.
“We're convinced someone watching today has information that will lead to the arrest of the killer,” said Bill and Peggy’s son, Doug Stephenson.
The family is now offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact at the Boone County Sheriff’s Department at (859) 334-2175 or Cincinnati Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
