Celebration of Life for Jim Scott Happens June 28 at Mount St. Joseph

CINCINNATI - The community is invited to honor the legendary voice of Cincinnati radio personality, Jim Scott, at a special celebration of life. 

Scott passed away last June at the age of 81 after a battle with ALS. 

The event will be held at Mount St. Joseph University on Saturday, June 28, exactly one year since his passing. 

The celebration of life will reflect Jim's remarkable personal and professional journey through music and storytelling. 

Festivities include special tributes by local personalities, and a program featuring local vocalists and musicians. Attendees may also visit Jim Scott memorabilia in the MSJ University Theatre Gallery. 

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. The event starts at 6:00 and is expected to last two hours.

This event benefits the University of Cincinnati Gardner Neurological Institute's ALS Clinic Endowment Fund to provide hands-on assistance to Greater Cincinnati ALS patients.
