(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - On May 16, 2019, Cardinal Workplace Solutions hosted a luncheon that was attended by several local businesses and a few of the board members from The Clearing House.

Cardinal celebrated the success of its buying local DOES make a difference program, Partners in Giving. This program was introduced four years ago in the Lawrenceburg office of Cardinal Workplace Solutions located on Walnut Street. Cardinal partnered with The Clearing House and was very excited to announce that the total donation amount for the program is now $31,830.

During the luncheon Karry Hollan, director of The Clearing House, spoke about how the donations from Cardinal over the past four years have helped guarantee the coverage of the monthly expenses. They have allowed her more time to focus on grant writing and start two much needed programs.

The Sacks of Snacks program serves nine Dearborn County Schools.  It provides a weekly bag of food that goes to 450 children who have food insecurities.

The mobile food pantry called Right-2-U Resources serves Dearborn, Ohio, and Ripley Counties in Indiana. It is currently delivers groceries to over 2,000 families that reside within a 100 mile radius of Aurora.

Hollan has had a vision of programs like these for 10 years. She is delighted that Cardinal’s program allowed her the time and financial resources to make them come true for our community.
