(Versailles, Ind.) – A new trail has opened at Versailles State Park.
The Busching Bridge Trail connects Versailles State Park and the Town of Versailles.
Visitors can access the trail from Water Plant Road if you are heading to the park or just past the tree line on County Road 255 if you are heading to town.
When you hit the trail, you will notice trail signage funded by Southeastern Indiana REMC’s Operation Roundup Grant program and trail kiosks constructed by the building trade class at Southeastern Career Center.
“Thank you to Versailles State Park Mountain Bikers, the Town of Versailles and Street Department, and Ripley County Tourism for their help bringing this to life. We are grateful for these partnerships and hard work from lots of individuals and groups to make this possible,” reads a statement from Main Street Versailles.
