(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Cincinnati Bengals player Adam Jones is issuing an apology following an episode at Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg last week. Jones was escorted out of the casino by security last Wednesday morning. He had reportedly become irate over being asked to stop using smokeless tobacco. In a message posted on his Instagram page Friday, Jones apologized saying he only wants to be seen “as a great and humble father, husband, person, and Bengal.” The apology comes after TMZ Sports published a video of the tail end of the incident. The celebrity news site reported that the incident may have arisen from an argument over casino chips. Following the first reports on the incident last week, Jones lashed out at the media in a profanity-laden Instagram video at http://instagram.com/p/y-cJvCkjqB/. Lawrenceburg Police have made no arrests and have not issued charges in connection with Jones’ behavior at the local riverboat casino.
