(Undated) - One local school district has been ranked among the best in the state of Indiana.
Ranking and review website Niche.com has released its 2021 Best School Districts in Indiana rankings.
Batesville Community School Corporation received the highest ranking of any school district in southeastern Indiana at 16th overall.
Other school corporations making the top 50 are Sunman-Dearborn Community School Corporation (38th overall) and Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation (47th overall).
The Best School District rankings are based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Ranking factors include test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings and more.
