A search for a permanent superintendent is continuing.

Jane Rogers.
(Batesville, Ind.) - Jane Rogers is coming out of retirement to lend a helping hand to the Batesville Community School Corporation.
Rogers, the former Superintendent of Milan Schools, has been named the Interim Superintendent at Batesville Schools while the school board completed its recruitment process to hire a new superintendent.
The need for a new superintendent comes after Paul Ketcham left the school corporation on January 1 to become the Assistant Secretary of Education for the State of Indiana. Ketcham served as Batesville Superintendent for nine years.
Rogers brings 40 years of experience in education, including 20 years with Milan Community Schools—nearly seven years of those as their superintendent.
She will serve Batesville during this transition until a permanent superintendent is selected.
