All 1,925 ballots submitted in the election will be recounted on Friday, December 2, Ripley County Clerk of Court Mary Ann McCoy told Eagle 99.3 Ripley County correspondent Cathy May.

The recount process will begin that morning in the Ripley Circuit Court judge’s chamber at the county courthouse in Versailles where the three members of an appointed recount commission will take an oath.

The actual recount will start at 8:00 a.m. at the Ripley County Courthouse Annex in Versailles.
