You can donate Thursday, September 3, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, in Highpoint Health's conference room.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The next Highpoint Health/Hoxworth blood drive is Thursday, September 3, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, in the hospital’s conference room, located on the second floor.

“Our community has always shown great dedication to our blood drives. We have many supporters that have been donating at Highpoint Health for years. The direct impact they have to make a difference in the lives of their family, friends and neighbors keeps them coming back year after year,” said Jill Waters, Laboratory Manger, Highpoint Health. “We saw this amazing spirit at our last drive where we surpassed our goal by more than 30 units and we’re hoping to do it again on September 3.”

“Being a blood donor does not increase your risk of contracting COVID-19,” said Jayna Howard, RN, Infection Preventionist, Highpoint Health. “Along with Hoxworth, we’re following enhanced safety protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. Temperature checks will be done prior to entering the hospital. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.”

Please enter the hospital at the main lobby entrance. Appointments are strongly encouraged to comply with social distancing. To schedule an appointment, please visit www.hoxworth.org/groups/highpointhealth. You can also make an appointment by calling Hoxworth at 800-830-1091 or Highpoint Health’s Education Department at 812-537-8431.
