(Aurora, Ind.) – A local brewery is hosting a “Paint for a Cause” fundraiser this weekend.
Art with Amberly will be held at Great Crescent Brewery in Aurora on Sunday, October 15 starting at 2:00 p.m.
Amberly King will lead the event, instructing guests in seasonal canvas painting. King is responsible for painting the signage and butterfly mural on the brick wall outside of Great Crescent Brewery.
Instruction and supplies are included with the $25 fee. Five dollars from each reservation will go to Safe Passage, Inc.
A portion of food and beer sales will also go to the nonprofit organization in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Safe Passage is a domestic and sexual violence shelter and support service provider in Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, Jefferson, Ripley, and Jennings counties. On average, they serve 1,300 people a year through the shelter, toll-free crisis line and non-residential programming.

Class is limited to 35 people and must be paid in advance to guarantee reservation. Must be 10 years old and up to participate.
A waitlist will be created once the class is full to accommodate another class if needed.
