(Aurora, Ind.) – Sometimes learning doesn’t require students to bury their heads in a book.
Students at Aurora Elementary School participated in their 3rd Annual Enrichment Day on May 18.
Over 20 presenters were invited to the school, allowing each grade level (K-6) to visit six different 45-minute sessions. Each session allowed the students to be exposed to a future career, a new hobby, or a local club or organization.
More specifically, students got the opportunity to pet penguins in the gym, learn about insects in the cafeteria, and practice mixed martial arts in the hallways.
