2nd Annual Rockin' on the River Battle of the Bands Returns to Aurora

A full day of family fun takes place Saturday at Gabbard Riverfront Park.

(Aurora, Ind.) – Get ready for a full day of family fun in downtown Aurora.

The 2nd annual Rockin’ on the River Battle of the Bands takes place Saturday, September 10 from 12:30 to 10:00 p.m. at Gabbard Riverfront Park.

The City of Aurora and the Southeastern Indiana Board of Realtors have teamed to bring back the band competition that will feature local artists.

Attendees will be the judge while also enjoying the beer and wine garden, food trucks local vendors, corn hole and more. There will also be a kids’ zone featuring bounce houses.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the YES Home food drive. The YES Home is a residential group home for youths ages 12-20, providing a structured, nurturing environment for abused, neglected, and abandoned children.
