Milk has been named the official beverage of Indiana high school athletes.

INDIANAPOLIS - The American Dairy Association Indiana Inc. (ADAI) and the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) recently announced that milk is the official beverage of high school athletics in Indiana.
To help spread the word, the IHSAA enlisted the help of a few student athletes from across the state including East Central High School's Tyler Stenger.
Stenger, who lives on a farm, says in the commercial "it's really cool to know that milk is the number one drink for student athletes in Indiana."
According to the American Dairy Association, cow’s milk provides 13 essential nutrients, including calcium, vitamin D, protein, carbohydrates and electrolytes, leading it to be selected as the drink of choice.
