Updated Schedule for Postseason Baseball, Softball and Tennis Matchups

More rainouts on Friday has led to more changes for the postseason schedule.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Rain, rain, go away so the kids can play. 

Several high school baseball, softball, and tennis games were postponed this week due to inclement weather which will make for a jam-packed weekend of high school sports. 

See the updated sports schedule for baseball and softball sectional games and girls' tennis regionals below. 

 

Baseball

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Bloomington South

  • East Central vs. Bloomington South (Friday, 6 PM). Bloomington South 12, East Central 2 
  • Columbus East vs. Bloomington North (Friday, 7:30 PM)
  • Championship: Monday at 6 PM

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Rushville

  • Lawrenceburg vs. Greensburg (Saturday, noon) – First Round
  • Franklin County vs. Rushville (Saturday, 3:30 PM) – First Round
  • Batesville vs. South Dearborn (Saturday, 7 PM) – First Round
  • Connersville vs. LB or GB (Monday, 10 AM) – Semifinals
  • FC or RUSH vs. BV or SD (Monday, 1 PM) – Semifinals
  • Championship: Monday at 8 PM

Class 2A Sectional 45 at South Ripley

  • South Ripley vs. South Decatur (Monday, 11 AM)
  • Switzerland County vs. Southwestern (Monday, 10 AM) – Resuming game from earlier in the week. Score is tied 2-2 at the end of the 5th.
  • Winners of these two games will play Monday at noon
  • Milan vs. North Decatur (Monday, 2 PM)
  • Championship: Monday at 7:30 PM

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Jac-Cen-Del

  • Jac-Cen-Del vs. Trinity Lutheran (Monday, 10 AM)
  • Rising Sun vs. Hauser (Monday, 12:30 PM)
  • Championship: Monday at 7 PM

 

Softball

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Franklin County

  • Franklin County vs. Rushville (Saturday, noon)
  • South Dearborn vs. Connersville (Saturday, 2 PM)
  • Championship: Saturday at 6 PM

Class 2A Sectional 45 at Switzerland County - Championship

  • Switzerland County vs. South Ripley (Monday, 11 AM)

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Rising Sun – Championship

  • Rising Sun vs. Hauser (Saturday, noon)

 

Tennis

Regional at Richmond

  • Franklin County vs. Oldenburg Academy – Played Friday. Oldenburg won 5-0.
