Tobie Teke Named OAC Player of the Year

The former South Dearborn HS star put up some big numbers this spring.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Tobie Teke is the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Year. 

The Aurora native and former South Dearborn High School star was also named a First Team All-OAC selection in the outfield, where he played in 39 games this season for Muskingum. 

Teke was highly-productive, leading the conference in two major statistical categories. He was first in steals with 35 and had an OAC leading on-base percentage of .536. His slugging percentage of .537 was third in the OAC. 

In 134 at-bats, Teke hit .381 with 51 hits, 30 RBI and 35 walks. He added 13 extra-base hits including eight doubles, two triples and three home runs. 

Teke is a three-time All-OAC honoree, earning Second Team honors in 2023 and 2024. 

He is Muskingum's first OAC Player of the Year recipient since 2008.
