INDIANAPOLIS - Some local names made the list for the 2024 Indiana Academic All-State Team.

To qualify you must be a senior, as well as play in 70% of the team games. If a player is the valedictorian or salutatorian of their school, it is an automatic qualification. Students can also qualify with a score of 8 on the academic formula. That is a combination of a student’s GPA and SAT/ACT scores.

Adam Kunkel from South Dearborn, Eli Loichinger from Batesville High School, and Carter Bohman from Batesville High School were among the names of almost 200 student athletes.
