The Mount Secures Commitment From Rising Sun Star Pitcher

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – One of the top pitchers in southeastern Indiana will play his college ball in Ohio.

Rising Sun star Steven Jimenez committed to Mount St. Joseph University on Tuesday.

This past season, Jimenez went 6-1 with a 0.89 ERA and 79 strikeouts.

Jimenez, a third basemen and shortstop, also hit .262 with four doubles and 12 RBIs.
