Stenger, Wilhelm Earn All-American Status at D-III Track & Field National Championships

The D-III Championships were held May 23-25 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

(Myrtle Beach, SC.) – Two former East Central High School track and field stars showed out at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships.

Mount St. Joseph University sophomore Jill Wilhelm placed 16th in the javelin with a long toss of 38.84 meters. She finished the event as a second-team All-American.

Teammate Jessie Stenger competed in the shot put and the discus, where she placed 5th and 16th, respectively.

Stenger recorded a 14.54 meter shot put, which was good for the Hanover school record. She earned All-American status in both events.
