(Aurora, Ind.) - A South Dearborn High School track & field star is going D1.
Senior Eva Grace Quinlan signed her letter of intent Friday to continue her academic and athletic career at Indiana State University.
Quinlan is a two-time IHSAA State Qualifier in the 300-meter hurdles. Last year, she finished 18th out of 27 competitors. Her trophy case also includes four EIAC championships, a sectional championship and a regional title.
“I chose Indiana State because I really enjoyed the environment and the coaches. The team is one whole family and they were really welcoming when I first visited. I love their track program, and I feel like I can become successful there. The school itself is beautiful and the facilities are amazing.”
Quinlan is the ninth D1 athlete in South Dearborn track & field history.
While at ISU, Quinlan plans to major in Interior Design.
