Kunkel put up video game numbers against Rushville last Friday.

(Aurora, Ind.) – South Dearborn junior quarterback Adam Kunkel was cooking last Friday night.
The Knights star completed 33-of-50 passes for 526 yards and six touchdowns in a 61-34 win over Rushville.
The win locked up the EIAC Small School Division Championship for the Knights, who are 7-1 going into the regular season finale this Friday against Lawrenceburg.
Kunkel has had a big year, passing for 2,011 yards and 18 touchdowns. He currently ranks third in the state in passing yards.
Following his video game like performance against Rushville, Kunkel has been nominated for the MaxPreps Indiana High School Athlete of the Week.
Voting will end on Monday, October 17.
The winner will receive a letter and award patch for their varsity jacket.
