(Aurora, Ind.) – A South Dearborn High School soccer star will stay close to home to play collegiately.

Jason Hail this week announced his commitment to Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati.

Hail, a central midfielder, earned a spot on the EIAC All-Conference Team as a senior. He tallied 14 goals and nine assists, helping South Dearborn to a second straight sectional championship.

“Jason is a very technical player with great vision. His work ethic is superb and that fits perfectly within the program’s philosophy,” said MSJ head coach Rudy Argueta. “Jason brings leadership and a great positive attitude to our team and program. He is eager to continue learning about our beautiful sport as he wants to be part of something unique and exciting.”

“I really love the campus and the spirit of MSJ is amazing. What made me want to play for Coach Argueta was his philosophy on life and soccer. I really love his personality and I can’t wait to play for him,” said Hail.

In the classroom, Hail intends to major in Business Management.
