SD Grad Wismann Scores First College Goal

Her goal was captured on an ESPN broadcast.

INDIANAPOLIS - IU Indy freshman Bernadette Wismann scored her first college goal on Saturday. 

The 2024 South Dearborn High School graduate netting a goal in the 21st minute of a 3-2 home loss to Detroit Mercy. 

The goal came in front of a televised audience on ESPN.

At South Dearbor, Wismann was four-year All-Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference (EIAC) selection.

She finished her career at South Dearborn's single-season (32) and career (85) goals record holder, while also setting single-season (17) and career (54) records in assists as well.
