(Rising Sun, Ind.) - A three-year captain of the Rising Sun Lady Shiners soccer team is set to continue her playing career at the college level.
Sydney Pitts signed her letter of intent on November 27 to continue her academic and athletic career at Thomas More University.
Pitts has starred for the Lady Shiners since her freshman year, earning All-ORVC honors each of her four seasons. She is also a member of the Tempest Revolution club team that is the two-time defending Indiana Presidents Cup Champions.
At Thomas More, Sydney will study Nursing while seeking a degree as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist.
