Ripley Co. Tournament Ditches Consolation Games After Postponement

Girls first round games and the girls and boys championship games will be played this week.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Basketball Tournament is ditching its consolations games after the tournament was postponed due to inclement weather. 

With no games being played Friday or Saturday, the tournament now shifts to this week with girls first round matchups being played tonight at Milan High School. 

Jac-Cen-Del will play Batesville in game one starting at 6:00 p.m. It will be followed by Milan versus South Ripley at approximately 7:30. The winners will advance to the championship game at South Ripley on Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m.

The boys championship game between South Ripley and Batesville will tip-off around 7:30 as part of a girls/boys doubleheader.
