It is his 8th career X Games medal.

(Aspen, CO) - Nick Goepper is no stranger to competing at the X Games.
This week, the Lawrenceburg native grabbed another medal on the X Games podium, taking silver in the Men's Ski Superpipe.
Goepper's X Games medal count rises to eight. He has five golds and three silvers since his debut in 2012. Six of those medals came in the ski slopestyle event. He won his first gold in the ski superpipe at last year's X Games.
This year, New Zealand's Finley Melville Ives took gold, scoring 95.00 in his 3rd and final run. Goepper's best score was 92.00. Fellow American, Alex Ferreira, took bronze with a best score of 90.00.
"15 years of @xgames and this had to be one of the best. Amazing people, energy, support, and overall vibes all week long. Feeling lots of love. Hyped to grab silver and feeling confident going into the big show next month. Incredible skiing from @fin.ski and @alexferreiraski. Super gnarly contest considering we had a blizzard blow through during practice," said Goepper.
Goepper now sets his sights on the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games, where he will compete for the first time in the halfpipe discipline. Goepper is a three-time Olympic medalist in the slopestyle event.
