(Milan, Ind.) - Hundreds of swimmers from Southeastern Indiana gathered on Saturday for the SEISA Conference Championships.
Seven different swim clubs have faced each other in dual meets throughout the early summer, leading to the conference meet at Greensburg High School.
For the second year in a row and fifth time in the history of SEISA (held since 1976), Milan Aquatics and its 40 swimmers brought home the first-place trophy.
Team scores were as follows:
- Milan: 1881
- Greensburg/Decatur County: 1760
- Batesville: 1297.5
- Hidden Valley Lake: 1106
- Jefferson County: 726
- South Dearborn 562
- Switzerland County: 313.5
Individual event champions for Milan include:
- Brody Stock – 4-time winner
- Taylor Stock – 4-time winner
- Lindsey Franklin was a triple winner
- Double winners were Kami Laws, Caiden Felver and Seth Thomas
- One-time champs were Cooper Mutz, Drew Poole and Elizabeth McKittrick
