Local Sports Report - May 25, 2022

East Central and Rising Sun advanced in the IHSAA Baseball State Tournament, while other games were postponed due to rain.

BASEBALL

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Bloomington South - First Round 

East Central 5, Columbus North 4 - The Trojans knock off the #5 team in Class 4A and move on to the sectional semifinals on Friday. They will play Shelbyville or Bloomington South. 

 

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Jac-Cen-Del - First Round 

Rising Sun 9, Oldenburg Academy 2 - The Shiners will play Hauser in the semifinals on Monday, May 30 at 12:30 PM.
