FRIDAY, AUGUST 10

 

GIRLS GOLF

Franklin County won a tri-meet against Batesville and Oldenburg Academy at Hillcrest Country Club on Friday. FC led the team scoring with a 176, followed by Batesville with a 189. OA only had three players, so they did not qualify for a team score. Wildcats senior Abby Orschell’s 41 captured medalist honors. Teammates Maggie Brack and Gracie Graf each shot a 44.

 

 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 11

 

GIRLS GOLF

Franklin County placed third in an 18-team field at the Lapel Invitational on Saturday. The Wildcats posted a team score of 369. Maggie Brack led FC with an 18-hole round of 86 shots.

Rising Sun 2, Jac-Cen-Del 0 – 25-13, 25-15 – Rising Sun took second place at the tournament, while JCD placed third.
