CINCINNATI - The state championship-winning Lawrenceburg Tigers were once again recognized on Wednesday night.
Lawrenceburg girls soccer won Girls Team of the Year at the Cincinnati Enquirer High School Awards ceremony. Other nominees were Badin flag football; Madeira girls soccer; Purcell Marian girls basketball and Seton volleyball.
Captains Kelsey Offutt, Morgan Manford, and Preslee Rugg, along with Aubree LaBazzo accepted the award.
LaBazzo was also nominated for NKY/Indiana Soccer Player of the Year. As a junior, she was named Third Team All-State after helping anchor a Tigers' defense that surrendered only seven goals in 22 matches.
